Indeed within 30 years of their introduction, that plague was literal. Stock numbers dramatically declined and settlers were forced off their land while thousands of hectares of Central Otago were abandoned
Cool. Panning gold is not easy, tha patience you have must be incredible. Some finds gold as small as dust. They compile decent amount to produce gold, of course still
The audio is very clear. I just wonder if the mining is still going on there. Mining on the same spot for decades would drastically damage the surrounding area.
